Hot on the heels of our recent success in Beijing, Brocade University and Global Knowledge APAC recently join forces again to deliver our first official Brocade class, delivered in Korean.

The ADX-TS 300 Layer 4-7 Troubleshooting class was held earlier this month at the Global Knowledge office located in Gangnam District of Seoul. 14 engineers from various Brocade partners were present for the inaugural 2-day class, sitting through both intensive theory training and hands-on practice.

Technical Trainer, Ms. Youn Suk KIM, went through rigorous preparation, going through the original Brocade curriculum and understanding the Brocade Layer 4-7 technology. She took on the challenge just 5 weeks before start of class, but made sure she had extensive practice on all lab exercises. Ms. Kim’s task is made even tougher as she had to plan her presentation in Korean, based on the English courseware available.

Localizing an existing course for any language is always a mega challenge. The key to success is proper project planning, and Brocade University had learnt a lot from the Ethernet Fabrics training in Beijing last July. Replicating the same formula for South Korea, it certainly helps when collaborating with an experiencedAuthorized Training Partner (ATP) like Global Knowledge APAC.

Student feedback from the training was highly positive, notably with Ms. Kim’s strong instruction and the quality of lab practices. Despite the short class duration, the engineers enjoyed themselves thoroughly.

Brocade University continues to progress at a rapid pace in APAC and Japan through its 3 strategic ATPs:
