P.G. Menon is director of Emerging Technologies for Datacenter Networking at Brocade. He is focused on technology trends and market transitions in the datacenter and its transformation due to server virtualization and cloud computing. Prior to Brocade, Mr. Menon was a principal at numerous networking and telecommunications system startups in enterprise and carrier market segments. Most recently Mr. Menon was the CEO of U4EA Wireless, a mid-market Wi-Fi systems company. Mr. Menon was VP of Marketing at NextHop, a routing software stack company acquired by U4EA. Prior to NextHop, Mr. Menon was VP of Marketing at Atoga Systems an optical networking startup that was acquired by Arris and director of product marketing at YAGO, a gigabit Ethernet router startup that was acquired by Cabletron Systems. Mr. Menon also worked at Bay Networks and Digital Equipment in various capacities. P.G. Menon has an MS in EE from RPI and BS in EE from IT-BHU.
