Our application server does not like the fact that health checks are getting closed using a RST packet

The ServerIron seems to send a RST packet at the end of an L4 TCP health check. Our application does not seem to like this and the application log is full of messages talking about aborted client connections/broken pipes. Is there anything I can do to change this?

Re: Our application server does not like the fact that health checks are getting closed using a RST packet

The default L4 TCP health check is looking like:

ServerIron -> real server: SYN

real server -> ServerIron: SYN-ACK

ServerIron -> real server: RST

You might want to use the global command:

server keepalive-fin

to move to FIN packets to close the sessions. Even the RST should not be a problem but some application are a bit strange.
