How to stop sending traffic to frontend web server if backend Database server fails?

Is it possible to setup a virtual server to monitor the backend database server so that if any ports on that server fail, stop sending request to the frontend web server?

There are two ways to do this.

1. Create a dynamic page on the webserver which returns some 5XX or 4XX error when the databses is down.

2. You can use the element healthchecks to have two healthcheks one for the webserver and one for database server and use the logical and of their states for server port state.
