How to determine the bandwidth being pushed through ADX 1216-4?

Hello,

I am working with a customer to replace their ADX switches with vTM.  Since the vTM licensing model uses bandwidth, I need to know the amount of bandwidth being pushed through their ADX switches to size them correctly with vTM.  How can I determine the bandwidth being pushed through their ADX 1216-4 switches? Thanks!

Show interface e 1 ; sh inter e 2

tally up all the interfaces to determine the bandwidth.

I would presume it would be best to understand the topology to be able to correctly identify the bandwidth directions (external vs internals) etc.

Of course you could do a show server virtual x.x.x.x and that would show u bandwidth used a per VIP basis...

Either results would require the understand of peak hours and non-peak hours to correctly determine what the actual peak bandwidth utilization is...
