How do I add a default route using L3/PREMIUM code?

How do I add a default route using L3/PREMIUM code? I have used L2 code before and the command "ip default-gateway" I have used in L2 code does not exist using L3 code.

The command "ip default-gateway" is a L2 code command only. The L2 code does know a single default gateway only - it is not able to act as a router or so. Using L3/PREMIUM code changes a lot - you do have the possibility to add statis routes now. A default gateway is getting added like a static route. Try the following:

ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 <next-hop>

This will work.
