it is possible to make a dns name based restrict access to a virtual server?

I do not believe it is possible to do a reverse look up on incoming traffic to establish domain name and then permit or deny access based on that.

Obviously it is relatively easy to permit or deny traffic based on an IP source using and extended ACL

It may be possible to do this with a firewall.
