Re: SteelApp on Oracle Virtualbox?

Hi all,

For the time being im able to use 9.6 with ubuntu 64bit as the vm machine (using 9.6 vmdk as the disk file).

But it would not be possible to use 9.8 and it cannot be upgraded from 9.6 due to limited disk size warning...

Appreciate the help received. Looking this as a method for self learning and demo to others

Re: SteelApp on Oracle Virtualbox?

Hi,

i have Steelapp "Stingray Traffic Manager: 9.8r2" running on a Ubuntu Trusty 64, which is a guest running within Oracle VirtualBox v4.3.12 orchestrated through Vagrant.

No problems whatsoever.

Re: SteelApp on Oracle Virtualbox?

Thanks. I was thinking of that it will not be an exact replica on my real deployment which most would be more on Esxi. To invest on vmworkstation is possible and i'm using my company notebook. Thus the idea of using virtual box with v9.8...

But thanks for the responce
