How to serve Flash policy file requests?

We have an application that serves Flash policy file requests on tcp/843 but we can't seem to proxy the requests via our SteelApp appliance. The policy file request is a TCP socket request and no matter which type of VS we choose the policy file isn't returned via the SteelApp. However, if we query the pool nodes directly the policy file returns ok. This article explains how policy files are requested:

Does anybody know what SteelApp virtual server parameters we need to use to get this to work properly?

Thanks

Have you tried a "Generic streaming" VS type?

Yes we tried that but it doesn't work; choosing "client first" seems to have done the trick, despite our test policy file requests failing, client first works for our application and we're seeing successful policy file requests and responses.
