Interfaces not showing afterboot in mirantis openstack

Hi

I have booted Vyatta 5600 %285.2R3 version%29 into Mirantis Openstack . After boot unable to see the dataplane interfaces in Mirantis openstack .

And after boots up vyatta , checked lscpu command and it shows that AuthenicAMD processor .

Vyatta 5600 will compatible for all processor or it will support only Intel

Please let us know asap

Thanks

Jay

Re: Interfaces not showing afterboot in mirantis openstack

Brocade 5600 vRouter should work fine on any x86 hardware, even though Intel is more common.

This issue is likely happening because you did not specify the CPU Model. Please try again after adding the following to your local.conf file

[[extra|/etc/nova/nova.conf]]
[libvirt]
cpu_model=host-model

Re: Interfaces not showing afterboot in mirantis openstack

Hi ,

As you mentioned , changed /etc/nova/nova.conf settings like below

cpu_model=host_model

Still we are not able to see the dataplane .

Error message is Failed to start vyattadataplane.service

kindly do the needful

Thanks
