BGP between Cisco<>Vyatta

Hi

I'm testing Vyatta against Cisco in my LAB.

I've got problem with simple iBGP setup where BGP session cannot establsh due to error on Cisco 2951:

Feb 16 19:56:21.844: %BGP-3-NOTIFICATION: received from neighbor 10.14.1.27 active 2/7 (unsupported/disjoint capability) 2 bytes 4600

Cisco 2951 is running IOS 15.2(4)M2

Second BGP session to Cisco running IOS 12.4(24)T2 established without issues.

Cisco configuration:

router bgp 1

neighbor iBGP peer-group
neighbor iBGP remote-as 1
neighbor iBGP update-source Loopback1
neighbor iBGP version 4
neighbor 10.14.1.13 peer-group iBGP
neighbor 10.14.1.19 peer-group iBGP
neighbor 10.14.1.25 peer-group iBGP
neighbor 10.14.1.27 peer-group iBGP

address-family ipv4 unicast
neighbor iBGP send-community
neighbor iBGP next-hop-self

Vyatta configuration:

protocols {
bgp 1 {
neighbor 10.14.1.13 {
address-family {
ipv4-unicast {
peer-group iBGP
}
}
}

}
}
neighbor 10.14.1.25 {

Re: BGP between Cisco<>Vyatta

My understanding is that that error message is related to issues with mismatched address families. But your config seems to look OK.

I've been trying to replicate it with Vyatta 6.7 R1S1 peering with CSR-1000V running 15.5(1)S1, but that works fine. Anything else in your config that might be related?
