Within BNA, what does a blue-green box with a diagonal line on a switch mean? I am aware of the Red - and Green + symbols.
Also is there a list of symbols and meaning available?

In the SAN + IP User Manual there's a few different tables showing different icons & colours. The specific meaning depends on the context.
Where are you seeing that icon?

I know such Icons, when the Switch is Unreachable i.e. the Switch was moved beetwen BNA in a different Fabric, or in the BNA you have wrong Credential username/password for the Switch in question.
can you please post a screen-shot ?

I get you email with the Screen.
As mentioned in my preview Post from 09-21-2015 06:48 PM, the Issue is related due a Unreachable Switch, for some reason.... wrong IP, wrong Credentila or whatever.
See screen below from Brocade Network Advisor SAN + IP User Manual #53-1003745-03
I assuming that you are not able to manage the Switch, in such case with a bit of "Caution" since this is a Core Switch, I would remove the Switch and/or try to discover again trough the BNA.
now you should be able to se the switch Correct Online in BNA.
Otherwise you you should open a Ticket with Brocade or you Reseller/OEM
