From RN 14.0.1 Page
Upgrade and Migration considerations
Migration is supported from the following previous releases.
Note 3: Network migration is not supported from 12.4.x releases to the 14.0.1 release.
as per my opinion this refer to 12.4.x = 12.4.0 ; 12.4.1 ; 12.4.2 and 12.4.3 ( but no to 12.4.4 )
From Release Notes 14.0.0 v1.3 Page 20
Note 5: Migration from 12.4.4 to 14.0.0 is not supported.
continue in same note:
Users have to migrate to 14.0.1 or later releases.
that mean, if you are on 12.4.4 you can Migrate to 14.0.1 but cannot migrate to 14.0.0

Yup, experiencing failure and rollback using a new test vm and clean install of 12.4.4, add a user then upgrade to 14.0.1 fails in both standalone and cluster configurations.

Does anyone have a solution for this?
We just hit the same thing while trying to do this upgrade and use the config process to retain data and settings.

what is the current release ? and new Release ?
did you want to Migrate or Upgrade.
the owner open this thread was not clear enough.
->Network Advisor upgrade from 12.2.0 to 14.0.0 - Migration path
Upgrade und Migration is not the same !!!

we're at 12.4.4 and upgrading to 14.0.1.
14.0.1 installed okay on our host.
The step in Network Advisor Configuration to "copy data and settings from previous releases" failed
and rolled us back to 12.4.4.
It indicated that it was uninstalling 14.0.1 but it did not do that.
upgrade vs. migration -
we have a running instance of 12.4.4, which to end up with a running instance of 14.0.1
with data and settings from previous release preserved.

I've created a DOC with simple procedure, this work fine.
did you use the same procedure ?
