Insiffuicient number of RPC handles SMI Agent

Greetings all.

Been having some strange issues with one of my switches in the SMI-Agent proxy tool.

One of my switch keep giving me an error say "Insufficient number of RPC handles" when I try and re-add it.

Any ideas or pointers

Thanks

David

Re: Insiffuicient number of RPC handles SMI Agent -Summary

from the smiagent developers guide

Connecting to switch If the SMI-A host machine goes down, the RPC client sessions on the switch side are
not closed immediately, but time out after about two hours. If this happens and the
maximum limit of RPC handles is reached, then the SMI Agent cannot login to the
switch until the switch is rebooted or until the RPC handles are released

How can I check if there are any RPC connections established on the switch?

netstat -an | grep rpc
