How do I create Virtual Fabric Zones with Commands?

All:

I know how to create zones on the Brocade 5300 with commands:

aliCreate "CX600_SPA", "21:00:00:20:37:0c:76:8c"
zoneCreate "CX600_SPA_SERVER_A", "CX600_SPA;SERVER_A"
cfgAdd "cfgName", "SERVER_A_ZONE; SERVER_B_ZONE"
cfgSave
cfgEnable "cfgName"

But now we're moving to "Virtual Fabrics" in the same Brocade 5300.  How do I do that?

Can I "convert" a single fabric 5300 to a multiple-fabric configuration?  How?

A friend of mine told me that he thought the only way to create Virtual Fabrics was with DCFM.  Is that true?

Re: How do I create Virtual Fabric Zones with Commands?

A quick doc-check (admin guide) to a basic VF config:

Enable VF:

fosconfig --enable vf

... enter 'y' and then a reboot

Create logical switch:

lscfg --create FabricID

Set context to newly created switch:

setcontext FabricID

Disable to configure (set domain id etc.) and then enable:

switchdisable

configure

switchenable

After that, add ports from the physical switch:

e.g. lscfg --config FabricID -port 8-16

After that, happy zoning

Is not!

You can use DCFM - Enterprise - to admin VF, but first you must enable the VF mode in the switch as mentioned by MKore.

Does that mean, all the virtual fabrics will have a separate zone config/database of their own?
