DCFM 10.4.1 on Linux SNMP Port Status Fails

Hi, I am trying to setup DCFM 10.4.1a (IBM rebranded) on a RHEL box.  All of the ports, FTP/Web Server/Syslog/SNMP work fine, except for the SNMP port, so therefore I cannot get performance reports to work.  What do I have to do to get this to work?  What underlying deamon does the SNMP process use?  Which services need to be enabled on the linux box?   I have tried to set it to a different port without success, and have turned on/off the linux snmpd and snmptrapd daemons.  I guess I am a bit confused!

Thanks!

Re: DCFM 10.4.1 on Linux SNMP Port Status Fails

Can you provide an error message?

Are you sure that your server is causing the issue?

Are you able to run snmpget from your server to query successfully?

Buy the way. the server is listening for snmptraps. So I assume that your switches are not configured correctly. Are you using Virtaul Fabric?

If so you need to setup snmp v3.

I hope this helps,

Andreas

Here is the error i was talking about, although everythin appears to be working, all the switches are discovered via snmpv3 just fine.  Not sure what the error message is about...
