BNA event action Script

Hi.

We have CMCNE 12.3.1 running on a Windows 2008 R2 server. Within the Event Processin-> Event Actions menu,  I see that there is an option to launch a script. Does anyoone have any details as to the basic syntax of this script??  Windows Batch, or Unix ksh/csh/sh etc??

Many thanks

Cheers!!

Re: BNA event action Script

The script can be any external script or application you can run on the BNA server. So if you're running BNA on Linux, you might write a script using Bash. Since you're running on Windows, I would write the script using Powershell (or Windows .bat if you must).

Note the option there to enable passing parameters - you'll probably want to do this, so you can do more processing within your script.
