virtual fabric and intergrated routing

If I have three logical switches configured on my core.  All three logical switches are part of their own virtual fabric and all three logical switches have connections (ISL) to one or more edge switche. For migration purposes I want to use FCR between the virtual fabrics. Do I need the Intergrated routing license for this on all switches or only on my core? The core is a brocade 6520 and the edges are brocade 6510 and brocade 5100. All running Fos 7.x

Re: virtual fabric and intergrated routing

Hi Tomsko,

it depends on your design / purpose - if you only use IR on the core switch, 6520, then you need to create EX-Ports in the base switch of core switch. And then IFLs from the base switch on the 6520 to the logical switches on the 6520.
