upgrading firmware from 6.1.1d to 6.3.0x, do I need to go 6.2.x first?

hey all, I am preparing to upgrade my switches (blade centre, IBM B32/64, 48000 and DCX) from 6.1.1d to 6.3.0x (which one is more stable?) due to technical refresh and AD/LDAP implementation, and wondering if I need to be on 6.2.x first? or there is a direct upgrade path from 6.1.1d to 6.3.0x.

Thanks

Re: upgrading firmware from 6.1.1d to 6.3.0x, do I need to go 6.2.x first?

Hi,

From 6.0 onwards we can upgrade 1 step only. i.e. if you want to go for 6.3.xx from 6.1.xx you have to go to 6.2.xx and then 6.3.xx.

you can go from 6.1.1d to 6.2.0 and then from 6.2.0 to 6.3.xx which ever is latest in 6.3. series. not needed that you have to go from 6.1.1d to 6.2.2d like this. The latest is 6.4.0. if you want to go for that then you have to go from 6.1.1d to 6.2.0 then to 6.3.0 then to 6.4.0 in 3 steps. But 6.4.0 is released last week and a new one, better go for 6.3.xx(latest)

If you fidn it correct then pls tick it correct

Thanks a lot.

does anyone have cheat sheet for AD/LDAP authentication for 6.3.0, I only have manuals. Specifically I am looking for changes/setups in AD controller side. thanks
