upgrading fabric

Hello, we have a pair of SW5000 core switches with sw4424 edge devices.  We just recieved a quote to replace our cores with 6510 switches.  Will our 4424 switches be compatible and successfully converge?  I have been searching all over for some kind of compatibility matrix but no luck.

thanks,

Don

Re: upgrading fabric

don,

you are in wrong place, please post in the future such question in correct forum

Back to you question, 4424 supported only FOS 6.2.x higher release are not supported.

I have here Brocade 200 ( Support same FOS release as 4424 ) ISL to Brocade 8000 with FOS 7.1.1 and work fine, details about supported FOS are listed as well in FOS Release Notes.
