interopmode 2 question

We have a redundant fabrics with 2 B-Series switches and one two Mcdata 6140 switch in each fabric. we are planning to decomission the

Mcdata switches. The fabric is now in interopmode 2. I have two questions

  1. Can the fabric run fine in interopmode 2 after i decomission the last of the McData switch with only B-Series switches left in the fabric
  2. What is the procedure for converting from interopmode2 to Brocade native mode. I have heard that we may need to rebuild all the zoning

Brocade are at 6.2.1b and we use DCFM 10.3.1

Remove the Second one ( subordinate Brocade ) from the Fabric, change the IM to Native and then create a NEW config.

Move then with care all device from productive Fabric to the new configured Brocade, when all work fine change the mode in the second Brocade and

join/ ISL in the Native Brocade.

This is a fast a simple way.

All other conversion methode don't make any sense.

Before begin with the procedure , save the config from the current productive Config.
