DETAILED DESCRIPTION

fabinfo provides easily readable zoning information. The information comes from uploaded configuration files from switches in the fabric(s) which have been modified to contain only the active zoning configuration.

All zones matching the argument to fabinfo are listed and for all switches specified. For each zone, the members are shown one per line. The first column is the alias or WWN or DID/port as it appears in the defined zone. The second column shows the WWN or DID/port if an alias is in the zone, or the alias if a WWN is in the zone. This second value is always in square brackets indicating it is not the value actually in the zone. If may be empty (e.g. a WWN is given that has no alias) or contain multiple values (if multiple aliases exist, for example). The zone name is shown in square brackets if it is not in the currently enabled configuration.
