configUpload not permitted (system not configured for AD)

Hi all,

I've been trying to setup script for automatic config upload to remote server from my SAN infrastructure. I'm doing well on newer FabOS (6.x) however I have encoutered some problems with FabOS 5.x. Because asymmetric encryption via SSH keys doesn't work within this firmware I'm trying to get the config issuing remote command via telnet. When I'm trying to issue configupload command (scp) I can observe such log: "configUpload not permitted (system not configured for AD)".Adshow shows that there is no domain configured (I suppose) because I use very simple architecture within our SAN.

fabric503:admin> ad --show
Current AD Number: 0  AD Name: AD0

Effective configuration:
------------------------
no configuration

Is there any way I can fix these things without interrupting fabric services ? Any help will be appreciated

Regards,

Wojtek

That show to me, the config you want to Upload contain AD's config, and this is a reason you get the error.

Re: configUpload not permitted (system not configured for AD)

this is not the answer to my question.

1) are you logged in the AD ?

2) contain the config you want to upload any AD, and the switch is probable not as AD configure ?
