DETAILED DESCRIPTION  <br/>

A script to check if users have their usernames as their passwords.<br/>

Tested on Solaris 8 and solaris 9.<br/>

To be run as ---&gt; ./checkpasswd <a class="jive-link-adddocument" href="http://community.brocade.com/home/community-document-picker.jspa?communityID=2006&subject=username"> username 
If username is not provided you will be prompted for one.
Note that this script needs to be run as root.

 

REQUIREMENTS 

Operating System Solaris 8 and Solaris 9

NOTES (INCLUDING LIMITATIONS) 

Will work only on those systems that have the crypt encryption algorithm is used(default on Solaris systems). It "will" fail if md5, blowfish etc. is used for encrypting the password.
