I have a HP 4/8 SAN (Brocade 200e) switch that is running FOS v5.1.0d and I would like to upgrade to the highest level I can. If I am not mistaken that would be v6.2.x..
Could someone point me in the upgrade path direction? Can I do the following:
v5.1.0d ---> v5.3.1a (its the highest I see on the HP website for the series B switches)
v5.3.1a ---> v6.1.2b (I do not see a 6.0.x on the HP website)
v6.1.2b ---> V6.2.2e (the highest upgrade for the v6.2 FOS on HP website and the last version I believe for 6.2.x)
Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

you're mostly right except for the 6.0 part.
5.3.1a cannot go directly to 6.1. You should use a special upgrade version called 6.0.0c_brcd_upgrd_01. Contact HP support to get it.
Hope this helps,

not really as it's a year older than 6.0.0c_brcd_upgrd_01. Some important fixes were added in the 'upgrade' version specifically targeting 6.0 issues.
Use of the special upgrade version is preferred, but if there is no other chance, any 6.0 version will do, just be sure you plan a maintenance window and never update both fabrics at the same time.
Hope this helps,

I guess I am going to go with the 6.0.1a version since that is the upgrade path that HP provides for the older switches like mine. Here is the link they provided:
If someone has a link to the 6.0.0c_brcd_upgrd_01 I would greatly appreciate it!
Thank you for your help!

you can obtain this release only from Brocade or HP with a active maintenance Contract.
