Trying to establish trunking between DCX 8510-04 and Dell Blade Chassis (with Brocade switches)

Trying to establish trunking between DCX 8510-04 and Dell Blade Chassis (with Brocade switches). The Dell Chassis and the DCX 8510-04 both have trunking licenses installed. On the Dell Chassis I am using ports 17 & 18 on each Brocade switch to (2) adjacent ports (s2/p9 & 10) on the 8510-0. The blade on the 8510 is FC16-32. The Brocade switches on the Dell Chassis are running in Access Gateway (AG) mode. The ISL's connect (N-port on the Dell Chassis to F-port on the 8510) and we are moving data across the links. However trunking is not getting configured automatically. The Dell Chassis switches are running FOS 7.0.1 and the 8510 is running FOS 7.0.0a. What am I missing?

Hi,

It seems that you're missing to configure the trunk area (bear in mind that what you're trying to configure is a F-port trunk and the process is slightly different). Plaese, take a look at the FOS 7.0 admin guide where you'll find the correct procedure to follow.
