DETAILED DESCRIPTION

The goal of this script is to backup the 12K, 3800 and 3200 switch to a HP 9000 server running HPUX 11.00. The switches being backed up have FABOS 4.1.2b and 3.1.1c running on them. Create a directory called /configs on the target host, create a file in $HOME called .brocade with permission 600, run the script from /usr/local/bin via cron. to capture a log the crontab entry should read /usr/local/bin/switchbkup1 > /configs/brocade.log 2>&1

The script initially writes the files to / and then mv them to /configs/switchname.
