SNMP entity 4100 SAN Switch

Hello All,

 

why i get with the Brocade entity mib on a 4100 Switch only the power Supply serial and model and not for the FAN

For both power supplys i get the Serial Number and Model but not for all 3 FANs. We try also with different FW dosent help

With a 48000 Director no problem.

 

Has anybody an idear?

no idea about the snmp responses, but please note that 4100 is end of life since october 2012...

THX for the Information but we have the same issue with 5100, too this is a 8gb switch and is not EoL

Hi,

 

That is because the fans in the 4100 and 5100 are embedded in the power supplies, so the model and serial number are the same. In the case of 48000 and dcx, power supplies and fans are different parts.

agree for 5100, but 4100 has two separate power supplies and three separate fans...

Alexey, you're completely right! Since 4100 is EOL I didn't bother to check it out... Man Frustrated
