RawBytes OID not showing up in snmpwalk on 7800

We are trying to get to the traffic stats on a 7800 and cannot understand why it seems the following OID isn't returning in the snmpwalk.  Any help appreciated.

xfcipExtendedLinkRawBytes

1.3.6.1.4.1.1588.4.2.1.8

Hi -

it works perfect on mine (running FOS 6.4.3b) :

snmpwalk on OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.1588.4.2.1.8 :

SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.1588.4.2.1.8.88.48.48.49.54.48.48.0.1 = Counter64: 74650872423000

SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.1588.4.2.1.8.88.48.48.49.54.48.49.0.7931717 = Counter64: 74650872609776

SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.1588.4.2.1.8.88.48.48.49.54.48.49.0.7931805 = Counter64: 74650872609776

Are there any circuit defined on your 7800 ? (portshow fcipcircuit all)

By the way you should consider using standard MIBII ifHCInOctets/ifHCOutOctets OIDs to simply have the whole traffic on Ge ports instead of traffics on defined circuits.

Kind regards,

Re: RawBytes OID not showing up in snmpwalk on 7800

I am not familiar with those OIDs, and unfortunately they do not appear in the snmpwalk either.  The others seem to be there, multicast, broadcast, etc. bit it is strange that they are missing.  The FOS was just upgraded to 7.0.2.

Is there some sort of configuration to enable them?

Re: RawBytes OID not showing up in snmpwalk on 7800

ifHCInOctets/ifHCOutOctets are parts of If-MIB.

User snmpconfig --show/--enable mibcapability to see of the MIB is loaded or not ... Fabric OS MIB Reference document will provide you more details.
