Hi SAN Gurus,
Our SAN is made of two fabirc consisting of 4 brocade switch. Two switch at each Datacenter. Currently we upgraded our ISL links to 8Gb blade. Each fabirc has two ISL. Connected at slot 8 port 0 and slot 8 port 7 ( same trunk group). We have set the distanance as LD auto. We have one ISL with 7Km and second one 23Km. My issue is eventhough the ports are in same trunk group, two separeate trunk groups ( 80 and 87) are formed. Is there any way to create one trunk group with two ISL having different distance.( more than 400 meters differents in length).
Am not sure if setting the LD to fixed distance will work ? will there be any performance issue.
One more info we used to have single trunk group with ISL having 7 and 23 Km length. Not sure why this is not working now. we do have the extended fabric and trunking license. Kindly help

You can not create two different ISL in One Trunk.

No, because LD Support 700 KM by 4GB and 350 KM by 8 GB, you have here a Distance of 23 KM
