Problems recognizing LUNS on 1 switch as apposed to the other.

I am currently having problems with seeing Hitatchi LUNS through a silkworm 3800. I am connecting two seperate JNI HBAs to two separate Silkworm 3800s. One HBA can see the LUNS and the other HBA can't. I was using EZfibre to configure the disks and the HBA that doesn't see the LUNS can see 2 tape drives on the SAN. I tried manually configuring the jnic146x.conf and sd.conf files, but still no luck. Any ideas?

Hi jlech, we have a similar configuration except for the storage that is an XP1024 but I think that is the same....

Re: Problems recognizing LUNS on 1 switch as apposed to the other.

also make sure that you don't have a target overlap. What I mean by that is if both HBA's are set to the same target only one will work. this also the jni driver instance will only bind to the first array wwn. if you specifiy different targets you can accually bind to array ports to one hba.hope this is clear.....
