Netbackup Media Expiry

DETAILED DESCRIPTION  

We have scripts to expire the medias after checking whether the medias are free or if it contains some backup images. If the images present in the media are expired then they are manually expired through the following command.

 

REQUIREMENTS 

Operating System This script can be run on any Unix based environment as it contains shell scripts. 

Interface Brocade switches with 2 Gbps interface are present which has shown a great performance in taking up large sized SAN Backups. 

Fabric Operating System This script can be run on any Unix based environment as it contains shell scripts. 

Other We have scripts to expire the medias after checking whether the medias are free or if it contains some backup images.

If the images present in the media are expired then they are manually expired through the following command.
