Re: Need assistance to skip control-C message on SAN switch

The message clearly states switch default accounts, plural.

So only changing the admin account will not suffice, change root, factory and user as well

Re: Need assistance to skip control-C message on SAN switch

it's not recommended to change the root, factory, user passwords.

So any other way to skip this message ?

Re: Need assistance to skip control-C message on SAN switch

Source?

http://www.brocade.com/downloads/documents/html_product_manuals/FOS_AG_710/wwhelp/wwhimpl/js/html/wwhelp.htm#href=usermgmt.11.3.html

Directly above table 15

Table 15 lists the predefined accounts offered by Fabric OS that are available in the local-switch user database. The password for all default accounts should be changed during the initial installation and configuration of each switch.

Now go change the password to get rid of the message and as a bonus get a password, which is not longer one LMGTFY away

If you really want to keep them, have you tried changing them back to the default after changing the passwords the first time?

I have not tested it but that might be a workaround.
