LSAN Problem

We have four DCX 8510-4 switches, two at the production site, and two at the DR site. The inter-site connection is via a DWDM Chassis one at each site. We have integrated Routing Licenses on all four DCX switches, however it is only enabled at the production site. We have successfully setup the routing service. We created the LSAN zoning configuration using Network Advisor. Our problem is that when we checked after we activated the LSAN Zoning it doesn’t appear to have set up correctly.

I have included outputs from lsanshow, fcrphysdevshow and fcrproxydevshow.

Also Switch FSWCATD50 is at the Production site and FSWKIRD52 is at the DR Site.

We expected to see the remote device  50:05:07:68:01:10:d6:dd when we ran fcrproxydevshow on the FSWCATD50 switch.

Our Routing design is for an IFL between the Production and DR sites.

We were wondering if having the Integrated Routing license on the DCX 8510-4 switches on the DR site is impacting/confusing things.

Should we remove the Integrated Routing license on the DCX 8510-4 switches on the DR site to resolve this issue?

Can anyone suggest anything to help us resolve this issue?

Re: LSAN Problem

I'm pretty sure, to do LSAN properly, you need to have a router on both ends which would suggest you need the integrated routing licenses to be active on all the DCX switches unless you are using another routing platform such as the 7800.
