you can configure the Maximum Logins per switch with the configure command.
Fabric parameters (yes, y, no, n):
Virtual Channel parameters (yes, y, no, n):
F-Port login parameters (yes, y, no, n): y
Maximum logins per switch: (1..25200)
To perform this command, you have to disable the switch first.
How can you find the actual value of this parameter without disable the switch?
Configshow does not give the information.
Thanks and kind regards

thanks for your answer.
The NPIV PP Limit parameter shows me how often one specific F-Port can login to the switch (default is 126).
I want to see the mximum numbers of login per switch, that means how many logins of all ports in the specific switch.
In my example the value is 3200. If you have a B300 with 24 ports and the NPIV PP limit is set to 126 on each port,
the theoretical value of the max. logins per switch can reach 3024.
In DCX you can have more ports and more logins per switch. To view the configured value, the only way for me is to go via configure. For this i have to disable the switch.

switchname:admin> configshow -all | grep switch.login switch.login.perPortMax:255 switch.login.perSwitchMax:3200
That shows you both values.

thanks for the answer. Which FOS you are using? And what switchtype?
See my output:
a) DCX with FOS V7.0.0c
DCX:admin> configshow -all | grep switch.login
b) B300 with FOS V7.0.0c
B300:admin> configshow -all | grep switch.login

A big sorry... I modified the output a bit to have the original value in there again. I just tried some things and in fact you'll never see the output from my last post.
If the value is set to the default 3200 the line is just missing in the configshow -all. So if you don't see the line, you have the default 3200.
If you change it with configure, the line will appear with the configured value (other than 3200).
