How do I identify which ports belong to a portgroup

How do I identify ports that belong to the same portgroup so that I can select the correct ports to create a trunk. The switches I am connecting together are a 48000 Director and a 4100 edge switch .

Hi

Check hardware reference manuals for your switches:

Basically 4100 have four 8-port trunk groups (0-7, 8-15, 16-23, 24-31), and 4Gb blades for 48000 also have 8-port groups.

Re: How do I identify which ports belong to a portgroup

Thanks for your help. I finally found that answer on another forum, though it does seem to be remiss that the information is not available in the portshow command. The other thing I find odd is that on the 32port blade, the ports are physically grouped in a 24 array but the portgroup is configured in a 18 arrangement. Brocade also state that the little symbols on the card indicate the portgroups, but on our cards we have little grey boxes on each group of 4 ports on the left hand side of the card and black boxes on the right. ????
