How disruptive is changingthe FillWord using portcfgfillword

Hi,

 

I have a 7800 in AG mode (v6.3.1c) and as part of investigations into some performance issues have noticed one of the 'F' ports to the DCX has the FillWord set at '0'.

 

After some reading im happy with changing the FillWord but would like to know how disruptive this would be to the 6 Blades currently mapped to the F Port. Im pretty sure it won't cause any issues as it would seem its literally down for a millisecond but if anyone has any experience on changing the FillWord and if its safe to do on running systems it would be appreciated to pass on the details..

portcfgfillword is disruptive as the port briefly goes offline.

If you have another uplink to the DCX and your maps configured as such that it can be used for failover it might be nondisruptive on the application level
