How Can I trunk 2 ISL between two with my Brocade 6510

HI,

I have already one ISL link between 2 switch 6510, now I need more bandwith How Can I trunk another ISL link together?

 

I have the trunking licence

Hi, 

 

For details look in other topics on this forum or in the "Fabric OS Administrator's Guide". There is a long and good section about Managing Trunking Connections.

 

Basically you just add another cable between the two switches. There are some requirements that needs to be filled, they are detailed in the Administrator's Guide. For example same speed, same port group, trunking must be enabled on the port.

Important restriction: the cables length must be the same (skew up to 40m is OK).
