Getting constant link resets (C3-1014) on a DCX8510-16 running FOS 7.3.1. How can we fix it?

We are getting floaded with link resets on a unused port on a DCX8510-16 director, running FOS 7.3.1.   Have reset the port but that doesn't help.  Is this a hardware problem?   Brocade message manual says to do a power cycle on the blade.  I'm wondering if it isn't a bug in 7.3.1.

I know a similarly issue I believe if I remember correct it was a AN-... message, as be fixed in FOS 7.3.1c, but this was related to credit recovery loss and bottleneck, and no in unused port.

Is very suspect that you get such a error into unused port.

Thanks Antonio

The recommendation from Brocade is to powercycle the blade.   I think it is more like a FOS bug though....

That's not just link reset, that's part of credit recovery mechanism. Is the port mentioned further in the message external or internal?
