Factory default configuration

Hi

Is any command to erase configuration on Brocade 300 switch and return to factory-default ?

I have Brocade 300 switch (running FabOS version 6.4).

Re: Factory default configuration

before your use this command at your RISK!

Save all the license, must be added again after the switch is resetted, with the command licenseadd

the command is

"configremoveall"

Re: Factory default configuration

Thanks

I did it. Interesting that my licenses wasn't deleted, also IP address and switch hostname remains. Is it normal ?

Re: Factory default configuration

If you just want to wipe-out the configuration (aliases, zones and zoneset), but not necessarily reset all the factory defaults, you can use  the following:

WARNING:  Back-up all configuration data before doing this!!

# switchdisable

# cfgdisable

# cfgclear

# cfgsave

# configdefault

# switchenable

(wait 1 or 2 miniutes)

# cfgshow
