"• GbE ports on a FX8-24 blade or a 7800 switch cannot be on same subnet. In the current
TCP/IP stack implementation, all the GbE ports use the same routing table. When there are
multiple interfaces are on the same subnet, it may not be possible to control which interface is
used to route an IP packet. This restriction will be removed in a later release.
Does anyone know if the "later release" is out? Or must we still assign different subnet on each port?

6.3 is actually the current Release.
FOS 6.4 will be available shortly, but is unknown to me if the Port can be assigned to different subnet.

Restriction was removed in Fabric OS 6.4.0.
