F-Port/L-Port command

Hello all,

I was wondering if there is a "command line" command to uncheck the L-Port from the allowed port types for each port.

I found that if you log through the gui ("http") this option is available (see attached file), but I cannot figure out how to do this on command line.

Any help is welcome.

Thanks again,

Re: F-Port/L-Port command

Antonio,

Thanks for the reply, but the command "portcfglport" from my understanding will designate a port as an L_Port. I want to remove this option, so that the port is only configured for "E" and "F".

Re: F-Port/L-Port command

Then you want to use 'portcfggport' instead.  G_Ports will not attempt loop initialization (but will negotiate to either E or F).

Re: F-Port/L-Port command

Yes I just found that out. The following command works. Thanks for all the help.

# portCfgGport <portnumber>, 1
