Connecting storage to DCX

In what document(s) will I find best practices for attaching storage to a DCX? I have FC8-64 and FC8-48 cards in my DCX backbones

I am migrating storage from McData i10k and 6064 directors. With these directors we would split our storage ports among the cards and LIMs so we'd have proper coverage for hardware failure within the directors. With the high density cards in the DCX I'll be spreading ports across the FC8-48 and FC8-64 cards. Should I just plan storage connections based on card failure or should I also consider how the ports share bandwidth?

Simply put, try to make the most use local switching (keep in mind that traffic on a blade has to cross the when its inter ASIC traffic).

It depends on you're business requirements, but usually its both.
