Connecting a Brocade 2400 Loop Fabric into a Brocade 48K

I have an old loop fabric that we are needing more storage for one of the systems. I was wondering if there is a problem on cascading a 2400 switch that is setup for loop ports to an existing 48K in a core to edge switch setup? I do not know if it is even supported.

Re: Connecting a Brocade 2400 Loop Fabric into a Brocade 48K

Do you have FabOS 5.2.x or 5.3.x in the 48K Loaded ? If yes, you can interoperate only with the v2.6.2 trough FC Roter Example AP7420, 7500 or FR4-18i Blade. FabOS 5.0.x and 5.1.x is Interoerate with the v2.6.2 with restrictions.

I thought about moving the loop connections to the 48K's and setting the ports for FL.
