Re: Configure brocade 5100 FOS switch to use https for Management

generate a request for certificate, use this request to generate certificate and sign it, deploy it on your switch, the https server is automatically started

Good luck

You have to know before you start if you use a self signing authority or if you want to use an official signing authority.

You should be aware of this and ask your securtity contact which fields have to be filled otherwise you get trouble with your clients which are not able top vailidate the switch certificates.

I would recommend that you read the admin guide first releated to your FOS version.

This gives you a very good detailed step by step guide.
