Any switch which has a lower WWN, it will become principal, and cause an RCF (reconfigure fabric).

A good solution would be to use the "fabricprincipal" command on all the core switches if you have core / edge topology. So if principal switch fails, then the next lowest WWN from the core switches will be the principal.
