Brocade 7800 (HP 1606 SAN Extension switch) - Two Fabrics One Switch

Is it possible to configure a Brocade 7800 (HP 1606 SAN Extension switch) to allow both the local Fabric_A and the local Fabric_B to be connected to the one local 1606 and not have them merge? The two fabric going into the same one switch.

The 7800 is running v7.0.1b

Purchased one switch for each side, one at Production and one at DR without the Integrated Routing (IR) License,  and once the Tunnels and routes are created the respective FabricA’s and FabricB’s will merge from Production to DR as expected.

Thanks for your input on this matter!!

Yes, is possible, you must just configure the 7800 Port versus Switch Port EX -> E Port.

EX to E not Merge the Fabric.
