Brocade 5000 switch question

Maybe this has been asked and i do apologize if it has. In any case, i have a Brocade 5000 that we cant seem to locate information about the License thats assigned to it. I've sent messages to Brocade and Dell including the Service tag but have yet to hear a response. my question is, is there any way to determine the license for the devices w/o powering the devices back on?

thanks

Re: Brocade 5000 switch question

Yes, there is a way but you might not have access to it. The Brocade Software Portal has a "License Management" tab at the top, which has a pointer to "Brocade FOS", then to "Unit License Query" which allows you to put in a switch WWN (a.k.a. LID) to query the license keys that are registered for it.

Having said that, you have to have a Software Portal login to have access to this. Not sure if you have that, or if your particular situation requires a company Admin to grant you permissions to run the queries.
