Re: Brocade 3200 FOS Upgrade failing

Greetings Pavan.  Sorry to hear about the troubles with the firmwaredownload.  Here are some things you can verify/try...

  1. Verify the Ethernet port speeds match (ie full dup).
  2. Once verified and set, reattempt the firmwaredownload.
  3. Since the new firmware seems to be set on flash 0, try rebooting the switch and run version to see what FOS version is loaded.
  4. From there, write back with the results.

If I think of anything else, I'll let you know.

  1. Verify the Ethernet port speeds match (ie full dup).   # Does this really matter , I could see the file getting downloaded in to the flash
  2. Reattempted the Firmware download several times after multiple reboots
  3. After reboots verified the version , but no luck still shows the same FOS version 3.1.2.

Re: Brocade 3200 FOS Upgrade failing

show to me as you have a issue whit FTP Server.

try whit another FTP i.e. Microsoft native FTP.

make sure Switch and FTP are in same subnet, no firewall behind, and FTP pointed to correct IP Address.

try with - if you have access - with another FOS release 3.1.3 or 3.2.0
