Blade switch M6505 with AG mode without POD license

[ Edited ]

Hi

Can you advise us for AG mode  ?

I have Blade M1000e with Brocade M6505 with FOS 7.4   with 12  POD port license .

http://www.brocade.com/content/html/en/administration-guide/fos-73x-accessgateway/GUID-7C85B548-BA0C-4B22-86B2-E39DB42F23DA.html

I have 16 of Dell M630 Blade servers  install to this Blade M1000e.

But I need to be use with AG (Access Gateway )mode connect to external Brocade 300.

1. Can I do configure below with only 12 POD in AG mode or not?

Blade Server F port number 1 - 8  map to  N- Port   use external port number 17

Blade Server F port number 9 - 16  map to  N- Port   use external port number 18

2. Additional PoD 12 port still require for this configuration or not?

I require to use all internal port of  M6505 F-port  in AG mode.

Thank you so much Smiley Happy

As you can see in the documentation that you linked, starting from FOS 7.3 you can run AG mode regardless of the number of POD licenses installed in your switches.

No, number of ports is still limited by your current POD license!
